The Hospital Privileging department is looking for a Hospital Privileging Supervisor to join our team. The hospital privileging team is responsible for managing the processes for providers who have been accepted to assignments where hospital privileges and/or credentials are necessary. The Hospital Privileging Team is focused on and committed to urgency, customer experience and effective communication to contribute to a positive experience for our providers, clients and sales teams as well as contribute to the overall goals of the organization. As a Hospital Privileging Supervisor on the Hospital Privileging Team, you will; manage and drive the day-to-day business, problem solve and provide support, engage team members, and assist with the strategic growth and development of the department. This role will report to the Administrative Support Manager for the Hospital Privileging team.
Your role::

Supports the team in problem resolution or can direct the team to outside resources if resolution is not within the team’s immediate control

Collaborates with leader and gives their feedback on short term goals that fit within the team strategy
Ability to understand and express needs for process improvement and implement changes
Keep people focused on the team’s key initiatives and priorities

Collaborates with leader for problem resolution for escalated team, client, or provider concerns
Collaborates with leader in onboarding
Overcomes obstacles to achieve goals
Holds self and team accountable for consistently meeting customer expectations
Ability to maintain flexibility with ever changing business needs
Leads team meeting/huddle with direction
Understands and implements execution of business plan initiatives

Additional Requirements and responsibilities

Has completed or is scheduled to enroll in LEAP
Flexible and accommodating work schedule
If managing direct reports; conduct regularly schedule 1:1 and growth and development meetings
Assist with other duties as assigned
Problem resolution for escalated team, client, or provider concerns

Education & Experience

Preferred

Work experience in the healthcare or staffing industries
Working knowledge of medical terminology
College Education
Leadership experience
