Our Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with a small, fast paced talent acquisition organization. The Jr. TA Specialist is an integral partner in supporting talent acquisition activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Jane.

This person will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to broaden and level up their experience as this is a support role with a chance to develop your skills while managing full cycle talent acquisition activities.

Responsibilities

Full cycle talent acquisition for some entry-level positions Support in driving the talent acquisition and interview process together with the talent acquisition team, hiring managers, and candidates Support recruiting team in sourcing prospective candidates Screen resumes in ATS (applicant tracking system) Schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers Assisting in drafting job offer letters and employee contracts Assist in creating job descriptions and posting jobs Participate in networking and recruiting events Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on status via phone and email Update candidate records and status in systems, confirm new hires, track employee referrals Assist in the implementation of new initiatives and processes, ad hoc projects, and other talent acquisition activities as needed Often as first point of contact with candidates and other individuals outside of the company, serve as a brand ambassador to Jane and identify opportunities for improving candidate experience

Qualifications

1+ years of recruiting coordinator or coordination experience Tech-savvy and able to learn new programs quickly (Lever, G Suite, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) Superb customer focus, attention to detail, and organization skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment Teachable with a desire to learn Strong collaborator and team player, yet able to work independently Analytical problem solver who can think outside the box Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
