The Logistics team handle all inbound and outbound freight deliveries for Misfits Market, working with external partners to ensure high levels of service and on time delivery KPIs are being met.
We are now looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator for the Logistics team. The primary function of this position is to work cross-functionally with the Procurement, Operations Planning, and Shipping/Receiving teams to ensure our goods move through the Misfits Market supply chain as efficiently as possible. This role will be partly based out of our Salt Lake City, UT facility, and part remote. This individual will report into the Logistics Manager.
You will:
Manage the inbound scheduler of all POs needed for future production weeks
Work directly with Ops Planning & Inbound Logistics in receiving necessary POs for production
Forecast outbound capacity needs and distributing forecasts to our third-party carrier partners
Work with our Shipping/Receiving team to manage delivery exceptions
Working with Logistics Analyst to leverage data and provide input for reporting and shipping tools
You are:
1-2 years of professional experience (preferably in Logistics/Operations)
Proficiency in Excel & comfort with data
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with supply chain processes
Problem solving, analytical and multitasking skills
A team player attitude
Eligible to work weekend and holiday hours when required in an on call rotation
