Job Description : MAINTENANCE MANAGER will oversee all aspects of plant maintenance. The main areas of focus will be planning, directing and supervising maintenance of all production lines at this facility. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with every department at the facility to coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities • Oversee the Maintenance Techs and coordinate completion of daily work orders. • Manage and build upon existing PM program. • Continuously working to keep unscheduled downtime to a minimum. • Manage existing Work Order and Inventory Management software.
• Coordinate new equipment installs and existing equipment relocations as needed. • Design and implement components and devices that improve plant equipment. • Assist with continuous improvement of the production facility regarding CAPA projects.
• Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to manufacturing processes. • Maintain and upgrade equipment; develop and implement new procedures and methods to improve production flow in both operational cost reduction and quality improvement. • Actively participate in facility safety initiatives. Maintenance Manager Experience • Degree not required; On the job experience qualifies • Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing required • High degree of mechanical analysis, problem solving and creativity
