Description
The Material Receiver (Purchasing Department) is responsible for unloading inbound material at the receiving/shipping building location. This will be full truck loads, LTL Box trucks, UPS/Fedex packages ect. Must review materials to assure they meet standards and match purchase order. That all certifications are complete and accurate, and reviewing paperwork and processing in the computer system. Moving product to proper storage location, or to proper person. Position does require working outdoors year round, and in all weather conditions and must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Would prefer someone with forklift and computer skills, but would be willing to train the right person for the job. This position requires a hard-working, organized, dependable and responsible person that is willing to be trained and grow.

Responsibilities
Employee must have the ability to recognize, measure and identify parts, and verify it against paperwork received.
Review Material Test reports to insure they match the purchase order requirements, that they are complete and accurate and matches the Material Test Report provided.
Visually verify that materials meet grade, heat number on the material matches certifications, and to verify quantity of products match packing list and purchase order.
Unload all inbound freight, check it in, then process it though the computer system.
Ability to read and understand shipping documents, material test reports and packing lists
Must have the knowledge and ability to unload trucks (flat beds and van trailers) using a forklift, and or pallet jack
Will be required to locate files, follow receiving procedures, scan and attach documents within the company software
Place product in their proper locations, as specified on the purchase order
Count inventory and complete inventory reports as requested
Communicate any problems or issue to the purchasing agent
Maintain all equipment, report all necessary repairs and problems
Keep yard and bin storage/stock areas and surrounding yard space well organized, stocked, clean, and clear of debris and garbage.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 DOE . Requirements:
Qualifications
Employee must be dependable and punctual
Shows attention to Detail to ensure job is properly done and procedures are followed
Employee has the ability to handle a fast paced job and the ability to handle multi-tasking
Ability to learn products such as hardware and misc. construction and steel components
An Employee who is highly motivated, hard working and needs little to no supervision
Basic computer skills is required to locate files in system
Physical Requirements
Job requires outdoor work and in all weather conditions, with extreme temperatures and to have the ability to lift 75 lbs
