Position : Outpatient Therapy Coordinator
Job Description : Highland Care Center is looking for a qualified outpatient therapy coordinator. In this role, the coordinator provides overall management and supervision of Outpatient Services including development and implementation of an annual operating budget, development and implementation of outpatient programs, follows policies and procedures; and recruitment and selection of rehabilitation personnel.
A wide variety of internal and external contact relationships are involved in the performance of the duties of this position. Developing and maintaining good communication with patients, families, and visitors is also essential. External contacts necessary in this position include case managers, third party payers, and skilled care facilities. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
Duties:
Provides direct care to patients
Conducts regular staff meetings
Trains new personnel
Maintains a staff of sufficient number to effectively provide quality care for patients
Maintains records and reports concerning department financial status.
Conducts marketing activities to promote referrals
Evaluates professional and non-professional services supplied by the department
Conducts annual staff performance evaluations
Is responsible for remaining current in Rehabilitation trends and new developments
**Outpatient coordinator experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
