Job Description : MERCHANDISER- PART TIME 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK
ON THE GO HOSIERY is National Leading Consumer products company seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser in West Jordan or Salt Lake City area to work approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Our Retail Merchandisers drive the success of our Brand by ensuring our overall placement, presentation, stock levels and speed-to-shelf set the highest possible standards! They are responsible for executing objectives set forth by their Manager to achieve superior in-store results in an assigned territory by communicating and interacting with department managers in assigned locations. This is a 20-25 hours per week position with some flexibility in scheduling. Some of the work may be able to be performed on weekends or in the evening, but weekend work and evenings are not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute retail territory coverage plan to ensure merchandising coverage goals are met.
Work closely with management and develop professional relationship to ensure cooperative involvement in the marketing, promotion and sale of product.
Perform duties such as accurately recording an inventory of a section and ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram.
Perform duties such as bringing merchandise from back room to sales floor to replenish company display space.
Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts per plan-o-gram.
Rotate stock, clean and replenish our product via DSD onto our display according to our plan-o-gram.
and price merchandise as appropriate.
Enter and transmits data in a timely manner.
Report observations to Manager regarding unbalanced stock, out-of-stock situations and point of purchase requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma/GEDWork
Experience: One-year of Retail merchandising experience
Physical: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.
Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
Must be Computer literate with Internet access and be comfortable with scanning and emailing pictures in PDF format.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
Must have professional appearance & demeanor.
Availabilty:
Must be available to complete approximately 50% of the work in the morning hours – usually in 2.5 to 3 hour blocks of time between the hours of 7:00 AM and 12 Noon. The remaining 50% of the work may be performed at any time including nights and weekends subject to any of our customer’s restrictions on vendors (thats us) visitation hours.
