Job Description : At ION Vision, we are dedicated to giving our patients the highest quality of optometry care. Our goal is for our patients to leave our office with a memorable and enjoyable experience, which is why having welcoming and compassionate staff is our #1 priority. Our patients could go anywhere for an eye exam, but they don’t.

We are searching for someone who will roll out the red carpet for our patients and bring their best to our team. We’ll give you a hint… be YOU! It won’t take long for you to feel the energy at our office and realize that we are not a doctor’s office of robots. Laughter is an integral part of what sets this job apart.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Opens/closes office
Greets patients or others arriving for appointments
Obtains patient information, answers questions and provides assistance as appropriate
Supports by answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments and checking in patients for appointments
Performs preliminary testing for eye exams
Maintains, cleans and organizes the office
Processes contact lens orders (pricing/order documentation)
Teaches new contact lens wearers how to insert, remove, clean and care for contact lenses
Submits electronic vision insurance claims

Required Skills

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
Ability to identify problems and brainstorm solutions
Must like snacks, treats, and food in general. We believe “food” is the 6th love language.

$11-13/hour plus monthly bonuses!
