Job Description : We are seeking Piano & Guitar Teachers to come and teach in our studios. With a flexible schedule and a great staff, our teachers have said this is easily the best job they’ve ever had!
At Jordan Music School, we like to have fun, while also considering our students’ educational needs with focus and sincerity. Our Teaching Strategy is to cater our teaching to the learning styles of our students. We do not believe all students fit inside a cookie cutter mold, and aim to be flexible to those needs.
Applicant must be: -Dependable – must attend lessons, a no-show is unacceptable-Punctual – must arrive before students-Knowledgeable in Music – at least Beginner levels, up to Advanced-Good with People – including both children and adults-Respectful of surrounding teachers and building tenants
Job Requirements: -Keep Record of Student Attendance-Teach lessons on a weekly basis-Follow the calendar of the studio – given in advance-Contact administrator for studio needs or student challenges
Applicants do not need to hold a college degree in music, however experience in teaching is preferred. We are currently in need of a teacher for the afternoon & evening hours, with other hours flexible to your availability in between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM.
Pay per hour is highly dependent on each teacher’s education and experience in teaching music. Teachers are paid as Independent Contractors. Additional pay options if willing to substitute for fellow teachers, and bonuses for referring teachers and students to our school.
Jordan Music School will handle all scheduling, marketing, collecting tuition, studio cleaning, and any other studio business needs. These tasks will never be asked of the teacher.
