Position : Preschool Assistant Teacher
Job Description : The Children’s Home is Hiring! We have been providing a fun learning environment for kids for almost 30 years. We are excited to have you join our team.
Responsibilities 1. Develop age appropriate lesson plans2. Create intentional activities each day to provide a fun environment for the children
3. Communicate effectively with other professionals, children, and parents.
4. Maintain a clean, sanitary environment.
5. Assist children with any physical needs (toileting/diapering, medical emergencies, assist in eating when necessary)
6. Lessen inappropriate behaviors by redirecting children to more appropriate behaviors.
7. Work independently, but also willing to take instruction from a supervisor.
8. Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.9. Perform other temporary duties as the manager sees fit.10. Interact with parents to express concerns and/or day to day problems about their children and to alleviate concerns while maintaining a harmonious relationship.
11. Pick up children from school if necessary
12. Assist in any other way Lead Preschool Teacher sees fit
Qualifications:
1. Have CPR Certification and food handlers permit. (Can be trained after being hired.)2. Must be 18+ years old.3. Preschool experience preferred.
4. Must be able to lift small children (10-50lbs).
5. Must be able to sit on the floor and play with children.
6. Demonstrate effective communication.
7. Be able to read, hear and speak with an understandable voice.
8. Have current Drivers License.

Pay: $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
