Job Description : Your Job

As the Product Director for Identity, you will own critical touch points for all Job Seekers, Employers, and other users of Indeed. Our goal is to get people jobs, and your role will be ensuring that the login and account creation experiences are frictionless and safe. You will be responsible for a team of product managers that own the user experience, back end services, and threat intelligence for accounts on the site. Your team will deliver frictionless product experiences while keeping our users safe. Because Identity is core to many Indeed products, you will work closely with leaders across Indeed to support product efforts in all business groups.
You are someone who is able to work seamlessly across teams to deliver value to Job Seekers and Employers using Indeed. You delight in simple, powerful user experiences. You’re strategic and use data to inform that strategy.
Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of product managers
Drive product development with diverse, high-calibre teams of engineers and designers
Collaborate with fellow engineering, design and business leadership to define the vision and strategy for your product group
Align strategy and goals with leadership teams across Indeed
Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products

Who You Are

Minimum requirements

8+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of successfully launching products (at least half of it from building consumer facing products)
Experience hiring and coaching teams of 5+ direct reports (with some experience managing managers)
Experience growing and managing geographically distributed teams
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
Demonstrated ability to prioritise, communicate priorities and corresponding product roadmap across functions and geographies
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Nice to haves

Experience with large scale products (dozens of millions of monthly users)
Design or user experience background
Identity or security-related experience

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 178,000 – 258,000 USD per year
