Time: 40 hours/week – Monday-Friday
Employment Type: Full-time
SHIFT: 8am-5pm
PAY: Depends on Experience
Start Date: ASAP
POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee production process and schedule and assist production supervisors to achieve customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties – Order does not necessarily indicate duty importance.

Follow all company policies and procedures.
Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
Monitor production process and make necessary adjustments in the production schedule.
Supervise the production team to produce and prioritize production jobs.
Maintain personal productivity and quality standards in all departments to ensure all employees follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintain order and discipline within production areas. Ensures that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Communicate with general managers, sales and production teams, informing and updating them regarding the production schedule, delivery dates and/or any issues during the production process.
Work with the supervisors to implement production goals and assist them to reach those goals.
Monitor quality standards of products.
Review timesheets, adjusting as necessary.
Provide the management team with monthly and quarterly sales/production goals and performance figures.
Develop and cross train staff by mentoring, teaching, setting performance standards/goals/matrix, and identifying their needs to further their progression and contribution to the company.

Additional ­-Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Credentials/Knowledge

Supervisory role of multiple direct reports.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of work experience necessary.
Forklift Certification required.
Must have basic math skills.
Basic reading skills required.
Basic computer skills needed.
Able to communicate in English. Preference given to bi-lingual Spanish candidates.
Must have basic writing skills.
Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.
Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.

Machines Typically Operated

Include but are not limited to computer and standard office equipment. Production machines (Softgel, Encapsulation), packaging counter, lot machines, forklift, pallet jack.

Production Area includes these environmental conditions:

– Exposure to food ingredients, including food allergens, in free-floating powder form.
– Moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and risk of electrical shock.
– Noise level usually moderate and often constant.
– Protective equipment such as gloves, hearing protection, masks, back belts, or cGMP attire suits may be required or recommended in certain situations.
