Job Description : Restaurant Consultant and Manager– Multiple Emerging Locations – Wheatland, Wyoming
Job Summary: We are looking for a permanent Restaurant Consultant and Manager to oversee the development and relaunch of multiple restaurants in Wheatland, Wyoming. This is a tiered job that will require one to function initially as a consultant for the development, rebranding, and relaunching of multiple restaurants. Following the relaunch, you will have the opportunity to step into a management role that will encompass the ultimate oversite of all locations.
Responsibilities: Consultant:

Work with ownership to assess condition of building, equipment, POS systems and other tracking or payment technology, and other associated infrastructure to determine changes needed.
Advise ownership on changes needed and assist in coordinating with various areas related to those changes, including but not limited to, vendors, equipment, construction, décor, demolition and construction, contractors, suppliers, designers, chefs, strategists, menus, etc.
Collaborate with ownership to understand the vision and ensure the vision is created.
Assess existing materials, equipment, technology, staff, policies and procedures, financial information, and more to determine location viability or modifications.
Assist in all aspects needed to open locations successfully and strategically.
Build or deepen key customer relationships at the management level by consulting with customers on all aspects of restaurant operations (via on-site visits, customer data analysis, industry benchmarks) and provide recommendations for improvement.
Develop business assessment report and works with customers to build agreed upon action plan, targets and timeline to address short- and long-term opportunities. Achieve customer savings and customer engagement goals.
Champion expanded use of value added services, specifically advanced tools such as POS integration, Inventory management, Menu profitability, Data syndication, Analytics, Financial analysis etc. Develop strategies utilizing these advanced tools to best enhance US Foods sales and maximize customer savings.
Any other duties as needed, to drive to the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Manager:

Keep records required by state and government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidies.
Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
Maintain food and equipment inventories and keep inventory records.
Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity.
Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation.
Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving and building maintenance in lodging and dining facilities.
Count money and make bank deposits.
Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service.
Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary.
Test cooked food by tasting and smelling it to ensure palatability and flavor conformity.
Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinate a variety of services, such as waste removal and pest control.
Review menus and analyze recipes to determine labor and overhead costs, and assign prices to menu items.
In conjunction with Human Resources, organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, hire new staff, and evaluate employee performance in dining and lodging facilities.
Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.
Record the number, type, and cost of items sold to determine which items may be unpopular or less profitable.
Monitor employee and patron activities to ensure liquor regulations are obeyed.
Monitor budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
Establish and enforce nutritional standards for dining establishments, based on accepted industry standards.
Any other duties as needed, to drive to the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Benefits and Compensation
Salary: We offer a highly competitive, negotiated salary based on experience, education, and credentials. The starting salary range is between $75,000 and $85,000 depending on multiple factors. Raises will occur with growth and acquisitions.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred
Experience in a management or leadership role in restaurant development is a bonus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will require supervision in multiple facilities, including direct supervision of recruited staff, coordination with 3rd parties, and self-discipline.
