Municipalities | Parks & Recreation Markets

We are seeking a salesperson for our U.S. commercial division who will be responsible for selling the Glice product line to municipalities and parks & recreation departments. Glice also offers rental skating rinks, typically contracted during the Winter holiday season from October to February to these markets. Your role will be to actively reach out to these customers, make them aware of Glice offerings, write proposals and close contracts. Your sales opportunity will be all 50 U.S. States and territories. Glice also generates leads through GoogleAds and social media campaigns that you will receive through the CRM.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about skating, be able to work in a consultative way to deeply understand customer requirements, and be passionate about customer success with our products. A working background in sporting goods sales or hospitality/facility sales or rentals will be beneficial. You will be reporting to the CEO of Glice USA who will support your sales efforts. We are looking for high-energy, self-starters who will focus on and develop certain commercial markets.
There are three primary areas of responsibility which are tightly integrated:

Market Research & Analysis
Map the assigned target market(s) and identify prime customer targets.
Enter and maintain prospect lists in our CRM (HubSpot experience a plus).
Develop and continually refine your deal pipeline.
Prepare quarterly reports on sales targets, conversions, and closings.
Business Development
Day to day sales follow-ups by email and phone on leads Glice generates.
Proactive outreach and development of new opportunities you develop.
Engaging with email account nurturing processes created in the CRM.
Engage and expand your social media presence with online prospects.
Proposal writing and closing follow-ups, leading to sales and rentals.
You will handle post-sales customer support and consumables sales.
Interdepartmental Coordination
Coordinating with Glice leadership and logistics to ensure proposal accuracy.
Process new orders in coordination with Glice logistics & accounting functions.
Work with Glice marketing to provide market insights and improve communications.
Participate in world-wide training and team events to expand your knowledge.

Although a virtual work location is acceptable, our preference is to have this sales role positioned in the Denver/Boulder CO area with proximity to our warehouse and U.S. offices. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CRM’s (HubSpot ideally) and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The overall verbal, written and visual presentation you make on the phone and ZOOM sessions to our customers must be impeccable and professional.
Compensation is commission based and may incorporate a monthly base plus performance bonuses. Glice is growing rapidly in North America and there are significant opportunities for the right candidate to expand their sales role and increase compensation with excellent performance.
