The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation, has one part-time, seasonal position (no benefits) available at Snow Canyon State Park in Ivins, Utah. This appointment will begin approximately April 1st, 2022. The position involves working weekdays, nights and holidays approximately 16+hours/week. Housing is not provided.
Examples of Duties
Staff entrance stations and collect park fees; distribute park brochures and information to the general public; meet and greet park visitors and help them discover the park’s resources and how to enjoy them appropriately; perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Skills
Experience with handling money, interacting with the public and public speaking. Ability to follow both oral and written instructions. Ability to work well with other staff members and the visiting public. Ability to work outdoors in a desert environment and stand for extended periods of time.

Applicant must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and undergo a background check.
