Position : Service and Parts Director
Job Description : Summary: Reports to the general manager. The fixed operations director is responsible for several departments. Manages the service, parts, and body shop departments in an efficient and profitable manner.Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Plans objectives for the department and creatives processes, procedures, and plans to attain objectivesMaintains reporting systems as required by dealership ownership and the manufacturerMaintains a top quality repair services and reduces comeback rateEnsures that the workplace is safeMaintains compliance with federal and state regulations that govern the department, including those relating to safety, hazardous waste, technician certification, etc.; must also understand these regulations and ensure they are observedUnderstands manufacturer warranty policies and ensures these policies are followedKeeps abreast of new equipment and special tools, including making purchasing decisionsAdministers and delegates responsibility for warranty claims to ensure compliance and timely paymentMaintains smooth relationships with customersImplements and maintains a system to verify customer satisfaction and FFVManaging intake and return of fleet vehicles with complex repair orders and transportation requirementsHandles customer concerns ASAP, following dealership- and manufacturer-required proceduresRegularly reviews pricing menus for fixed operations and makes recommendations to the dealerWorks closely with department managers to increase the profitability of the entire dealership in addition to attending monthly manager’s meetingsHuman resources responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Hiring, training, and motivating employees in the fixed operations departmentsHolds departmental meetings at regular intervalsEvaluates the performance of personnel in the department on a regular basisEncouraging professional growth and promotion from within as departmental needs changeJob Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCommission payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
