Job Description : Overview
True North Organics (Medical Cannabis) is seeking a creative and self-starting Social Media Coordinator who can balance content creation and social media ownership. Platforms include Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This candidate is passionate about photography and videography, while still being dialed in to internet culture and digital growth.
This candidate has experience managing multiple social channels, delivering engaging social media campaigns, and a deep understanding of online community management.
Essential Job Functions
Build content that is engaging and educational through a combination of video and copy-based images.
Create monthly interview + b-roll style videos of team members.
Scheduling out content on a daily/weekly basis to align with social media calendar, business goals and objectives, and writing captions in brand voice
Assist in creating a Social Media Strategy that aligns with the brand’s core values and mission and supports the business from a revenue point of view
Strategic execution and publishing of all social content including testing of frequency, timing, and content type optimization (visual content, hashtag keywords, use of emojis etc.) to keep improving social performance.
Manage social listening/analytics to help improve online presence for the brand on all social media platforms by responding and engaging with fans in brand voice – in real time
Bi-weekly and monthly reporting per channel inclusive of top performing posts, impressions, engagement rates, click through rates, highest-performing days, and times, etc. in addition to appropriately tagging and tracking each post to lend insight into patient/customer
Collaborate with company marketing department and cross-functional teams to bring social media to life
Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions with unique ideas for content production.
Growing, nurturing, and engaging the company’s social sphere of users
Occasionally attend trade shows, vendor events, etc. to capture content.
Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience working in content creation and social media
Experience with Microsoft Teams, Canva, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok
Multimedia/video editing
Basic photoshop experience
Photography and videography background
Social media management required
Must have a car and can spend time between Brigham City, South Ogden, North Logan
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
