Job Description : Job Overview: The warehouse provides service to all functions of Montana State Hospital. This position provides stocking, tracking, and disseminating of goods delivered and stored for Montana State Hospital.

Essential Duties or Responsibilities:
Warehouse Services 90%
Maintain records of incoming and outgoing inventory to the warehouse including, but not limited to, store orders, receipts, purchase orders, receivers, data entry, and reports.
Assists in inventory tracking including, but not limited to, maintaining up-to date knowledge of stock on hand; assisting in end of year inventory; and conducting daily entries for inventory control, conduct inventory audits.
Assists with moving freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
Assists with sorting of cargo before loading and unloading.
Inspects condition of warehouse deliveries upon receipt.
Verifies store order and invoice against good received by the warehouse.
Adheres to FIFO requirements, Warehouse organization and monitors expiration dates.
Maintains storage and inventory of emergency supplies and PPE held at Warehouse.
Assists patients with clothing and personal affects as needed.
Assists in assembling new furniture or other inventory as needed.
Assists Property Tech with work order program, prioritization & scheduling requests, inventories, storage, surplus, property tags, ordering equipment, and property organization.
Communicates with vendors daily and assists in completing inventory stock replenishment orders.

Other Duties as Assigned 10%
Assists with tasks and assignments provided by senior and executive leadership.
Participates in team activities as directed.
Works with patient workers assigned to the Warehouse daily and provides training and oversight.
Provides training to Ward Clerks on submission of Warehouse orders.
Creates training material on Warehouse processes for staff providing back-up coverage.
Assists Property Tech with conducting provider housing inventories.
Backs up Stock Clerk Lead as needed.
Provides input and feedback to Hospital Administrator / Chief Operations Officer as directed.
Performs other duties as directed.

Physical and Environmental Demands: Primary work conditions are in a warehouse environment with loading docks. Frequent lifting or moving of heavy objects often weighing more than 100 pounds required. Physical demands can be significant and includes ability to use various equipment including pallet jacks and dollies. Frequent indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather conditions. However, all hospital employees may interact with persons who pose unpredictable and physically aggressive behavior requiring staff intervention and possible risk of injury to staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
(Required for first day of work)
Working knowledge of ordering, receiving, storage, inventory, and dispersal of supplies.
Ability to organize workload in such a manner as to obtain maximum efficiency in a cost-effective manner.
Ability to utilize a computer including spreadsheets and inventory control programs.
Ability to follow oral and written instruction.
Must be able to work well with multiple professions and the public.
Must be able to communicate clearly and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive material.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to respond to stressful situations in a manner that helps the other individual de-escalate.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications (Education and Experience):
High School degree or equivalent
1-year job related work experience
