Job Description : Unified Command partners with companies on the leading edge of video and surveillance technology in order to bring increasingly sophisticated, enterprise-level solutions to temporary event environments.
We’re looking for someone that is tech savvy who can install and disconnect cameras while building a wireless network that enables the video images to stream back to a central location. This position requires travel to some of the most exciting music and sporting events. Full time employees work up to work 140 – 200 days a year.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Load and unload equipment in preparation of the event
Install temporary security cameras across large special event venues
Install and configure IP video cameras and wireless back haul equipment back to a centralized command post.
Interconnect video servers to the back haul network
Build a temporary video wall
Maintain the IP wireless network during the event including monitoring the network and implementing changes
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Monitor video cameras during the event
Install rapid deployment cameras during the event
Uninstall and pack equipment at the end of the event
Tag equipment for repairs prior to shipping
Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to run + terminate CAT5 cables effectively and consistently
Extensive knowledge of PC operation
Ability to troubleshoot Windows
Basic networking skills (How IP networks function and basic subnetting)
Able and willing to get certified to operate lift equipment (Scissor, Boom, and Bucket Truck)
Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders and able to withstand heights
Possess valid driver’s license
Ability to clear Motor Vehicle and background check
Able to work overtime as needed
Must work well in team environment
Proven experience as network technician or relevant position
Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication skills
Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
Hands-on experience with common software and hardware

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
