Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

Working with moderate supervision from a team leader and participate as a technical member of a development team. Achieve business and technical objectives and schedule by designing, coding, implementing, testing, and supporting technical application solutions. Coordinate and execute unit and system level automated and or manual test plans and documentation of results.

Work with Level 1 Service Desk team, Level 2 Incident & Problem Management & Level 3 teams to resolve production incidents.

Responsible for gathering requirements for new Change Requests, preparing specification documents and taking it through SDLC following Agile or Hybrid Agile Methodology.
Debug objects in production system to help in resolution of production incidents.
Work on Continuous Improvement initiatives and provide solutions to problems.
Communicate production status and issues to management and stakeholders.
Engage AMS delivery teams and instill a mindset of continuous learning and process improvement.
Coordinating onsite/offshore – multi-geography team environments if required.
Adhering to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as agreed with client Managing escalations.
Team working skills to contribute and boost motivation in project work.
Experience resolving integration issues.
Knowledge in trouble shooting existing issues and suggesting Business Process improvements as necessary.
Analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for automation & Innovation.
Communication with clients in order to determine their needs in detail.
Written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas and results to business executives in the marketing and sales organizations.

We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements through our 5 key offerings: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Finance Operations.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a software developer customizing the client’s products (PDMLink, MPMLink, Info*Engine) for enhancements and break fix
Demonstrated knowledge of the client’s integration development and tools (SOAP)
Demonstrated application of software development discipline, best practices, and project lifecycle methodologies
Ability to consider Scalability and Performance in solution development
Demonstrated experience in using the following for modification for the client: Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, XSD, XSLT
Knowledge of Cucumber, Selenium, Junit and DevOps Tools (Jenkins, Containers, …)
Experience/familiarity of NetBeans or Eclipse IDE, Version Management software (ClearCase, Subversion, Github), and VMware
Demonstrated knowledge of web services and web technologies
Demonstrated knowledge of Cognos reporting capability
Experienced in Linux and/or Unix environments
Experience with end user support
Troubleshoot/Debug development issues including raising support tickets with 3rd parity vendors as needed
Ability to develop and maintain solutions that support multiple deployable configurations from a single codebase
Experience/familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies/tools (Jira, Confluence)
Demonstrated experience with delivering and supporting customer focused and results based solutions
Limited sponsorship may be available
Travel up to 10% annually

Preferred

Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of PDMLink 11.1 or later
Experienced in 11.1 customizations of ACLs, Lifecycles, Workflows, Info Tasks, Webjet’s, OIRs, and Actions/action-models
Engineering release experience with Change Notice/Task, WTParts/Notes, EBOM structures, parts list reports, and effectivity
Domain knowledge of Creo Parametric and how it interacts with PDMLink
Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases
Demonstrated strong software process discipline including best-practice Configuration management, design, development, testing, and build/deploy disciplines
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Ability to dive in and learn rapidly, adapt to change, and work on varying assignments
Must be a self-motivated team player, able to excel in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment with effective oral and written communication skills
Desire and ability to work as a team member in a Scrum/Agile environment is essential
Experience with Bulk Migrator tool (WBM) is a plus
