Description:
Terra Energy is looking for a motivated professional to join our team, supporting our Piceance Basin asset. This position will be responsible for air quality compliance inspections of facilities associated with Terra Energy’s Piceance Basin operations.
Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of natural gas production facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local air quality regulations.
Routine inspections include, but are not limited to the following: monthly IR camera inspections for facilities with emission control equipment, monthly condensate loadout inspections, and semi-annual OOOOa facility inspections
Ensure all facilities are in compliance with all applicable air permits; e.g., proper AIRS IDs, routine liquid sampling, closed thief hatches on tanks, etc.
Maintain an excellent working relationship with the inspection and permitting staff of the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) and the Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC).
Participate in both scheduled and un-scheduled agency air quality inspections of permitted facilities
Provide recommendations to management and operations needed to maintain compliance.
Assist with agency records request associated with inspections.
Provide facility equipment updates to the air permitting group.
Maintain certifications in EPA Method 9 Opacity with bi-annual smoke-school testing, FLIR Optical Gas Imaging, and Method 22 Flare Certification.

Required Qualifications:

Two (2) or more years’ experience in oil and gas industry, either in EHS or field operations capacity
Effective communicator with all personnel from field staff to executive management
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, inclusive of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills, including all forms of communication, conflict management, relationship development, collaboration and ability to successfully influence others
Must be willing to travel to field locations
Ability to complete work with limited supervision
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States

The salary range for the position is $28.00 – $33.00, based on knowledge, skill, ability, experience and performance.
