Job Description : We are looking for a qualified Community manager (Couple) to join our team. If you are someone who would enjoy working in an active, 55+ community, has some property management experience and appreciates the Arizona lifestyle, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidates have exceptional work ethic, are problem solvers and have excellent administrative and trades technical skills. The best candidates are ‘people persons’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, this couple should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
Our benefits package includes a monthly combined salary range of $2800-3500, depending on qualifications. A furnished 2 bedroom/2 bath, mobile home with paid electric, water, trash, sewer, cable, and internet is provided. You will also receive 7 paid holidays and 2 weeks of vacation.
Work Expectations
This is a part-time position, with normal working hours of 9am-4pm, (1 hour lunch), Monday-Friday, with some occasional weekends. Reduced/altered summer hours are adjusted to accommodate weather conditions. The on-site managers are on call 24/7 for emergencies. There may be occasions which require the Employees to work additional and/or varied hours to accommodate Residents or Park Projects.
Responsibilities
Since this is a couple’s position, it requires one person to conduct administrative work, while the other performs maintenance duties.
OFFICE:
Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner.
Answer phones, email, and Wi-Fi questions.
Order any necessary cleaning and office products.
Take reservations for RV sites, vacation home rentals and home sale leads.
Distribute invoices to tenants and prepare and distribute notices when necessary.
Receipt payments for rent, prepare bank deposits of rental monies and make bank deposits.
Ensure rent payments are collected by their noted due dates.
Maintain an excel spreadsheet tracking tenant monthly payments and balances.
Assist with any Tenant issues.
Assist with evictions when necessary.
Interview, hire and supervise seasonal work campers.
Facilitate and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
MAINTENANCE/GROUNDS:
Repair small electrical and plumbing issues.
Conduct pool maintenance, clean restrooms, and showers.
Inspect and clean park facilities, such as, the laundry room, clubhouse, rec room, kitchen areas, library, exercise room, card room, and billiards room.
Maintain common areas (streets, paper, tree debris, garbage left around dumpster, and sometimes dog droppings).
Spray for weeds.
Assist with park projects as necessary.
Secure facility buildings.
Read water meters as necessary for billing.
Assist Guests with getting parked/set-up in sites.
Help/coordinate home sales and home installations.
Skills
Proven work experience in customer service industry.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Mid-level experience with trade skills (such as, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and/or landscaping).
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
Effective tactics in remedying residents’ concerns.
Preference will be given to candidates with proven successful property management experience.
