Accounts Receivable (A/R) Manager to join the team.
This is an opportunity to join a dedicated, experienced, and rapidly growing team that is aggressively growing. This is a highly visible, high impact position that will directly contribute to the growth of the business. The role will be vital in operations of the company.
Job Summary:
The A/R Manager is a key team member supporting business critical projects and will have influence on the organization’s success. They are expected to meet and work with individuals across the organization in a variety of functions.
Provides oversight to a collections and cash application team on a daily basis.
Establishes good working relationships with customers, and good working relationships with other departments, including customer service, accounting, and sales team.
Establishes process and procedure to identify problem accounts timely and escalate accordingly.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities of staff members to ensure an equitable distribution of accounts
Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy.
Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
Recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff members within the collections department to ensure a sufficient number of staff members are available to handle the workload.
Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals.
Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.
Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship
Consistently review aging to identify and escalate problems accounts timely; work with sales team to identify resolution
Monitor aging to identify unauthorized deductions; work with customers to collect
Implement credit policies and procedures that retain a smooth running of the department and avoid excessive credit limits.
Oversee cash application process; adjust process as necessary to ensure it is seamless
Job Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or Accounting
3-5 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably from the medical device industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-reliant; takes initiative; results-oriented, open minded.
Extent of Supervision:
Works under limited supervision with select latitude of independent judgement.

This position requires the incumbent to operate office equipment such as telephones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination.
Travel requirements:
Limited travel (if any) will be required

Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000, based on education and experience
