Waste Connections of AZ is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk based at our Phoenix, AZ facility. – 3000 S 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ.
We are looking for an innovative, creative and proactive individual who enjoys working in a team environment but also excels working at an individual level.
Main Accountabilities:
Process accounts and incoming items in compliance with policies and procedures
Perform day to day transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording data
Prepare invoices to be distributed to outside customers
Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
Update and maintain tracking spreadsheets
Data entry of new sales into multiple systems
Continually review and input billing data for Roll Off hauls
Requirements:
1 year of Accounting experience or accounts receivable business preferred
Available to work Monday thru Friday in an 8-5 flexible work environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel is a must)
