Position : Accounts Payable Administrator

Job Description : The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Administrator will be responsible for the timely and accurate accounts payable processing to payment cycle, in accordance with the company approval policy.
This is a role where the successful candidate can work occasionally from his/her home office.
Responsibilities
Review all employee credit card expenses
Review petty cash reports
Verify all receipts
Process and match invoices according to company policies and procedures; flag any unusual invoice items or prices
Verifies and enters invoices
Respond to vendor and internal inquiries
Research and resolve inquiries and invoice discrepancies and issues
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Assist with month-end closing, vendor analysis and accrual preparation
Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Builds strong working relationships with hospitals, employees, management and auditors
Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Background, Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in accounts payable, general accounting or similar
Post secondary Education, an asset
Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures
Proficient in data entry
Attention to detail and accuracy
Organized with good time management skills
Vendor relationship skills
Ability to prioritize workload for processing efficiency
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
NetSuite experience, an asset
Team oriented
Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
Comfortable working in a pet friendly environment (when visiting the office)
