Position : Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description : The Accounts Payable Clerk will primarily focus on AP as well as, sales and use taxes. This role will assist the accounting team with month end procedures and other projects as assigned.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities

Accounts payable duties, including, but not limited to vendor maintenance, three way matching and entering of invoices, filing, etc.
Assist with month end close and audit support
Prepare and file sales/use taxes in multiple jurisdictions
Attend meetings and trainings as required by the department or company
Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Associates degree in accounting, finance, business or something similar (preferred)
Manufacturing accounting experience (preferred)
3+ years in an accounting role
Ability to work independently and in a team setting; handle interruptions; meet strict deadlines; able to perform research. data analysis, and handle confidential materials
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail and high level of accuracy; strong analytical mindset; excellent written and oral communication skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Microsoft Excel skills
Understanding of US and Colorado sales and use tax regulations

Work Environment:
The office is adjacent to the shop. Loud noises and vibrations from the shop are heard and felt occasionally throughout the day.
Office hours are from 7:30-4:00 M-F
Physical Demands:
Normal office setting, including sitting and use of computer and office equipment for long periods of time, occasional lifting ( >25#), talking, standing, stooping, grasping, etc.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
