Job Description and Qualification Profile

JOB SUMMARY:

BKV is looking for a well-organized, results driven Administrative Assistant to support the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO. This is a great opportunity to establish working relationships with high-level executives and contribute to the growth of a highly dynamic organization. This is a role for a seasoned Administrative Assistant requiring limited supervision for routine tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the general operation of the Denver Corporate Office. Acts as backfill for Office Manager and assists with projects that drive continuous improvement. Typical tasks include:

Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Solve problems and apply best judgement within guidelines.
Schedule and organize activities such as events, meetings, travel, transportation, web conference, etc. Coordinate travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries, as needed. Set-up and tear-down meeting rooms. Organize catering as required.
Handle critical correspondence. Send and receive mail and other correspondence appropriately (USPS, FedEx).
Organize meetings and book meeting rooms both internally and externally, as required.
Manage and maintain files, records, agreements, contracts and correspondence in both hard and digital formats.
Process invoices and prepare expense reports.
Meet and greet visitors and ensure protocols are followed.
Screen incoming phone calls and respond to routine questions appropriately.
Key contact for building management.
Maintain corporate calendar and coordinate recurring meetings led by Executive Leaders; take meeting minutes that are technical and/or confidential in nature and transcribe them into final form, ensuring that information is documented accurately.
Prepare various documents, reports, and presentations as requested by the Executive Leadership team.
Maintain office supplies and kitchen supplies. Place orders when inventory is low.
Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

High school Diploma or GED certificate.
Associate or Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment required.
Highly proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or the equivalent.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills.
Able to operate standard office equipment.
Ability to understand and respond to business needs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proven problem-solving skills to ensure administrative processes run smoothly.
Demonstrate a customer service attitude.
Excellent at multitasking.
Team-player. Builds effective relationships across the organization and within the external community.
Experience in fast paced, dynamic environment is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The job is based in Denver, at BKV Corp. headquarters.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

This role will report directly to the Office Manager with a dotted line to the C-Suite.
Role has no direct reports.

SALARY RANGE:

Annual $61,000 to $91,000.
