Job Description : David J. Cupido Construction Ltd. has been a family-owned business since 1979. We provide a full range of construction services in the Industrial, Commercial and Institution sector. We are currently looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.RESPONSIBILITES:Responsible for all incoming telephone calls, emails and acts as reception by greeting all customers and clients professionally and courteously, directing inquiries where appropriate;Prepares and arranges timely couriering of documents;Receives new tender opportunities and ensures they are reviewed by Managers;Assists with tendering of jobs by maintaining bidders list, website and contacting sub trades as directed, receives quotes from subtrades, sources specialty items as required;Photocopies/prints plans, drawings and specifications as requested;Maintains and revises Company Portfolios and Company website as required;Prepares pre-qualification/tender submissions, proofreading with careful attention to spelling, grammar, completeness of report;Purchase, receive and store office supplies ensuring basic supplies are always available;Provides IT and phone support to field staff;Maintains overall organization of office;Provides administrative support to the President and Directors as required;EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: One-year College Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent;Three years’ experience working in a busy, computerized office environment;Experience in the construction industry an assetKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and observe deadlines;Strong interpersonal and communication skills;Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deal appropriately with sensitive situations and confidential information;Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and 365;Detail oriented with demonstrated editing and proof-reading skills;Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environmentJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Dental careExtended health careVision careSchedule:8 hour shift
