Job Description : Job Summary
Examine, analyze, coordinate and organize the administrative support work for the AD’s offices.

Plan and organize the AD’s daily, weekly and long-term agenda of appointments and activities.

Liaise with offices of senior Departmental officials, other government departments and foreign partner agencies to receive and relay information.

Review, verify and edit for quality and accuracy project documentation and correspondence for approval.

Create and maintain various databases by tracking and coordinating activities.

Collaborate with other Executive Advisors and Executive Administrative Assistants on a regular basis.
Education
College diploma

High school diploma

The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.

If you completed a program outside of Canada you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense through a recognized credential assessment service.

Note: Any higher level of education could be recognized as experience.
Experience
College diploma and three (3) years of experience*
High school diploma and seven (7) years of experience*

Experience performing administrative support functions. Planning, organizing and coordinating activities.

Candidates must also possess:

Recent** experience in dealing with management level officials.

Recent** experience in providing client services.

Recent** experience in dealing with IT systems and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word)

**Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the past three (3) years

Candidates must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance.
