Job Description : Job Description
Provide customers with answers to questions about subdivision and zoning regulations. Review applications for completeness. Assist with preparation of notifications for land use applications. Preparation of Planning Commission, Board of County Commissioners and Board of adjustment packets for distribution, attend and document meetings, prepare minutes.
Responsible for data entry in various Planning Department software systems. Assists with the organization and review of hard copy files in preparation for digitization and data entry. Scans documents and indexes and/or attaches them to data records for archival and future retrieval. Requires a high level of data entry accuracy and quality control checking of all entered data. Customer service and assisting citizens with information related to zoning regulations. Will also assist with other Planning and Zoning department duties as needed.
