Job Description : Description: We are looking to hire a dependable, self-starting, multi-tasking Counter Clerk to join our Aftermarket Sales team.
Skills Required:
Work effectively with limited direction as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to follow instruction, have a leadership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self-motivated, an initiator, have a good work ethic and willingness to learn.
Must be very detail-oriented and ability to keep work organized.
Ability to complete work in a timely manner.
Multi-task with incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers; ability to shift and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of basic accounting terms.
Knowledge of FedEx Ground, Freight, & Express services.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
Must be proficient in computer basics with excellent typing, grammar, and communication skills.
Previous auto part sales (or similar) experience is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Manage and re-stock a retail showroom.
Determine price and availability for parts orders.
Responsible for handling warranty claims.
Keep records of all orders and special order parts through a shared database system.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up at the retail store.
Correspond with customers and vendors daily.
