Position : Airline Crew Scheduler

Job Description : Key Lime Air has an open position for a Full-Time Crew Scheduler. This person is responsible for scheduling flight crews according to operational needs, considering crew and aircraft availability, maintenance requirements, and federal regulations. This position also advises appropriate personnel of schedule changes, potential delays or cancelations.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Assign crew members to flight assignments
Assess demand for upcoming assignments taking crew duty/rest requirements into consideration
Ensure that all crew member duty/rest times are scheduled in accordance with FAR 135 or FAR 121 regulations and department standard operating procedures
Communicate changes to the appropriate departments within the company
Work closely with Charter Coordinators to maximize charter availability
Coordinate with chief pilot and instructors to schedule training events
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:

Associates degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school; 1-3 years of related experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous airline scheduler experience preferred
Knowledge of Part 121 and 135 regulations is preferred
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn company software programs

Required Skills

Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
Must be detail orientated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent oral/written communication and problem solving skills
Successful candidate will maintain a high level of professionalism while multitasking various real time situations in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional on-call or afterhours availability

Schedule:

Full-Time: 32 hours
Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays

Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour
