We are looking for someone with an analytical mind to join the ski industry’s leading air program at Steamboat Ski Resort. The Airline Program Analyst helps build and manage airline relationships, and creates and analyzes reports for the resort’s established flight program. This position requires residence in Steamboat Springs or the surrounding area.
Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:

Manage airline program data and report production including weekly booking, pace and actual flown reports, and daily flight status information updates; monthly schedule updates and annual origin reports
Pursue and maintain professional relationships with airline contacts in various departments, including meetings, entertaining and/or skiing with airline contacts
Strategic analysis of trends in bookings, availability and airfare levels, to recommend flight revenue management adjustments
Manage report production from DIIO airline data program, to study competitive landscapes of flight yields, loads and origins
Co-planning & organization of Annual Airline Partners’ Summit event
Provide airport research cross-reference reports and analysis to aid in air program future decisions
Edits to online air travel web pages, Airline Summit page and online registration form
Position includes travel to meetings at airlines headquarters, 1-4 times per year, in the United States, to build relationships with airline contacts and assist Airline Program Director with airline programs

Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:

High School Diploma or GED required; College degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance or Math, is preferred
Minimum 6 months experience in an office environment with work in data management, finance or related areas is required
Must have clear and positive communication skills; and ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with airline contacts, co-workers, and management
Advanced computer skills needed, specifically with Excel
Must be organized
Work experience in resort industry, airlines, travel, marketing or research is preferred
Can problem solve in a highly effective manner
Must have the ability and confidence to self direct priorities
Valid driver’s license and can meet SSRC’s minimum driving standards is preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Resume and cover letter required
Sit at a desk for extended periods of time
Communicate in English on a professional level
Minimal physical lifting or moving of boxes

Miscellaneous information:

Candidate must have a successful motor vehicle record background check upon hire
This is a hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
Position requires occasionally working weekends, evenings, and holidays and some travel

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat area base hourly pay range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
