Job Description : GTM Deliveries Inc. is seeking self-employed delivery drivers to join the team and deliver Amazon packages in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. We are looking for serious hardworking people with an ability to learn fast and work efficiently.Requirements: Valid driver’s licenseOwn or have access to a reliable van or cargo van (SUVs and cars are accepted but may require 2 trips)Smartphone with good data bandwidth (no Chatr or Freedom mobile)Provide a criminal background report clear of convictionsPersonal suitability: Must be punctual and responsibleAble to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be in good physical shape to deliver at least 130 packages each day of work and be able to lift up to 50lbsMust be willing to work in a different area everyday in the Ottawa-Gatineau regionBe able to work in any type of weatherJob description: Job consists of inspecting, scanning and loading all your assigned packages into your vehicle and deliver every package you have loaded before the end of the day (9pm).Salary: 1,50$ per successful delivery. Usually 80 to 120 deliveries or more each day if assigned more than a route. 600-1200$ or more per week, depending on amount of deliveries and days worked as well as your motivation to make money.Also available are big boxes routes paid 4$ per delivery. Density is lower but it is paid more per drop. You’ll require a van to cover these routes.Paid twice per monthExperience: Driver 1 year (preferred)Delivery 1 year (preferred)Or highly motivated personLocation: Deliveries are both in Ottawa and Gatineau. The warehouse is located in Ottawa.Schedule: drivers choose their availability for the coming weekdays are usually between 4 to 10 hours depending on route volume and densitythe day usually starts between 8:00 and 10:00.
