PlantFusion is a Plant Based Nutrition brand primarily sold in the natural products retail channel and on Amazon. The core products are plant based nutritional powders and supplements. The founder recently repurchased the brand from investor partners with the goal of growing the brand and returning it to the role of a category leader.
The transformation initiatives will primarily focus on the introduction of innovative products that deliver an improvement in health and wellness. The innovation pipeline will be complimented with updated and best in class marketing tactics. The transformation will include changing the culture and strategy while enhancing the talent and performance expectations of the team.

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that relishes working with niche brands and the challenge of maintaining and growing our Amazon and Ecommerce businesses. You will be responsible for online sales, site operations, and growth marketing strategy with your primary focus being our Amazon Seller account and a secondary responsibility of our D2C dot com store. You should possess the capability to quickly learn and have some experience with foundational digital and non digital marketing tactics of leading CPG companies. You are enthusiastic about a healthy lifestyle and enjoy plant-based products. You seek a career opportunity that promotes healthier lives, challenges conventional thinking, and inspires brand and category innovation. You have an intrinsic marketing curiosity and the ability to translate your experience as a consumer with other products or brands and bring those best practices to PlantFusion.
Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations and administration of our Amazon and D2C ecomm platform, as well as managing a handful of key e-commerce accounts
Understand, evaluate, and report on the market position, pricing, strategy, marketing efforts and sales techniques of competing products in the e-commerce marketplace
Researching search term data and volume
Building AMS search campaigns with performance-driven formatting
Reporting on results / communicate with internal team
Partner with marketing team to identify, develop and execute initiatives to drive brand awareness, acquisition and positive customer sentiment
Monitor existing and emerging food and health trends and how they’re discussed online
Contribute to overall business objectives by developing and delivering projects on-time and on-budget

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience
Work experience with Shopify and Amazon Seller Central
Web marketing and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) knowledge
Extensive web analytics skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics
Strong business acumen and financial proficiency, analytical and business planning skills
Superior communications skills, both verbal and written
Comfort using data to communicate results and refine strategies
Experience working with a consumer package goods company
Experience with Amazon catalog, content, and AMS advertising management

Responsible for converting best practices into a documented process so that work can be “pushed down” to junior staff, allowing both you and the brand leadership to play at a higher level
Capable of framing out a problem, determining causes, and laying out steps and sequencing to move toward solutions
Capable of working cross-functionally, holding others accountable for completing tasks/projects on time while communicating proactively to prevent heroic (hurry up) conditions
Identify opportunities where the organization can turn individual actions into systematic processes that enables us to build on our base of knowledge and continually improve (quality) programs
Absolutely critical to take “ownership” of your work. Knowing what is important and pushing back on management when being pulled in too many directions or when not clear on goals and priorities.
Thinks beyond the obvious to develop creative solutions that overcome obstacles to getting things done.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
