NATURE & SCOPE
Reporting to the Manager of Ticket Operations, the Assistant Manager of Box Office & Call Centre is responsible for managing inbound telephone sales and mobile delivery support for Toronto Blue Jays single game tickets. This co-manager role will primarily oversee a team of part-time call centre agents while providing assistance with the operation and management of the Toronto Blue Jays and Rogers Centre Box Office.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the overall operation, accountability and management of the Ticketing Call Centre which handles inbound calls for Toronto Blue Jays and Dunedin Spring Training single game ticket sales and provides related mobile ticket support
Assist in the recruiting, development and training for Call Centre, Ticket Operations and Mobile Support part-time teams
Practice, uphold and train staff on department policies and the application of WE CARE service principles in all interactions
Maintain Call Centre and Box Office departments’ use of Salesforce CRM, including tracking, analyzing and reporting on data captured
Leverage data and reports generated from internal inbound phone systems to create strategies to optimize wait times, staffing levels and excellent fan experience while selling and supporting ticket purchasers
Demonstrate commitment to positively contributing, encouraging and fostering a culture of equality within an inclusive and safe workplace
Contribute to the overall success of Ticket Operations department by performing all other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree or college diploma in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience in a related capacity
Five (5)+ years of experience in a progressive ticketing setting, including at least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity
An excellent understanding of call centre operations
Demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft Office and CRM
Experience with the following programs would be considered an asset: PCI, TMWin, Archtics, Access Manager, Fortress and Salesforce
A committed, professional and proactive approach to customer service excellence and guest satisfaction
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with staff members at all levels within the organization
Demonstrated ability to be a reliable, responsible and punctual professional
Strong prioritization skills and an ability to multi-task in a busy and challenging work environment
A desire to contribute to a dynamic team and complete assigned tasks with a minimal amount of instruction and supervision
Legally able to work in Canada
Available to work evenings, weekends and holiday Blue Jays home games and Rogers Centre events as required
