Job Description : Job DescriptionThe Assistant Siite Supervisor will have good planning, leadership and problem solving skills. Responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site elements of projects including Health and Safety for the job site.RESPONSIBILITIESThorough knowledge and understanding of construction drawings, specifications and schedules for the ICI industry and have experience with projects that range from $1M – $5M with no less then 7 years as a construction site supervisor.Supervising, scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment as required ensuring the project is completed on schedule and budget.Liaise with project managers, designers, engineers, clients and governing authorities to achieve the scope of work.Ordering materials and supplies.Problem solve jobsite issues quickly and effectively in order to keep work on track and on time; manage and document job cost extras for review by the Project Manager and Site Supervisor.Follow fiscal policy set by Management.Conduct site meetings as required.Provide daily site and weekly safety reports; conduct safety talks.Ensure work is done in compliance with all IHSA Regulations and all applicable health & safety policies and procedures.We offer a competitive salary, benefits and retirement package.Job Type: Full-timeAdditional pay:Bonus payBenefits:Company pensionExtended health careExperience:Construction: 1 year (preferred)
