Job Description : Duties and Responsibilities of the Asst Quality Assurance Manager: Lead Entire Company’s Quality Assurance Strategy and Compliance with ISO and CSA Certifications.Lead and manage a quality driven culture of continuous improvement by creatively increasing awareness of company’s quality policy and objectives among all employees.Improve strategic quality performance indicators (KPI’s) through strategic Pareto Analysis, Process Capability Analysis, and Lesson Learned.Develop and improve all Critical to Quality (CTQ) areas as per customer requirements.Maintain company’s Quality Management System including registration and certification with ISO 9001 and other standards certifications such as customer lead Audit.Communicate and work with third party or registrar to schedule external audit for ISO 9001 and other re-certifications & surveillance and follow up of any corrective actions as required.Prepare and modify Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP) and Quality Policy Manual as requiredEnsure that established QAP and Quality Policy are implemented, maintained and reported to management team.Effectively manage and lead all QA activities in daily quality function requirements. Must apply hands on approaches.Conduct monthly internal audit to ensure compliance with ISO 9001-2015.Prepare internal audit report and Risk Analyze review to monitor the performance of company’s quality objectives and prepare summary.Coordinate and lead quality management system (QMS) review meetings with management teamSupport and guide calibration activities of equipment for facility and perform internal /external audit function monthly.Perform visual final inspection of finished unit or components to support daily quality to ensure that each unit has a Quality Plan (checklist).Perform receiving inspection of purchased parts to support daily receiving inspection function.Perform “in process” inspection of equipment test results to verify dimensional and electrical requirements as per required work specification.Perform in-process inspection before unit re-assembly to check completeness of documentation and verification of job processes.Prepare and Assist in completing Failure Analysis Report for warranty claims using root cause analysis and statistical methodology to define corrective actionsPrepare Non-Conformance Report and initiate Corrective Action Tasks for internal and external quality issues; determine disposition or action items required by involving Management Review or Task Owner; Follow up for corrective action and verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.Attend production meeting to prioritize quality function.Prepare monthly Management meeting reports and presentation during meetingsReview and follow up monthly on health & safety plus employee training certificates reminder, expired SDS reminder etc.Carry out Monthly “JHSC Workplace Inspection” with JHSC team representatives, prepare performance reports and discuss during monthly management meeting and monthly employee meeting.Assist and analyze customer satisfaction questionnaire and organize internal self-audit questionnaire.Participate in external customer survey or audit for company qualification.Assist purchasing in supplier approval process and perform vendor assessment as required.Visit supplier’s site for source inspection or supplier approval survey.Lead Process failure mode effect analysis for existing processes to drive continuous improvement tasks and prepare or update PFMEA accordingly where required.Increase application of Statistical Process Control to monitor manufacturing processes. (Use of Pareto, Control charts, UCL-LCL, CPK study etc.)Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Ability to work in a demanding fast paced environment with aggressive timelines.Review, approve, control and distribute all documents (Work instruction, Inspection and Test Report, checklists, Forms, etc.) as per Customer engineering approval.Adhere to PDCA and/or DMAIC Six Sigma principles.Review Contract Bid, Customer specification etc. to ensure company compliance and participate in Contract Bid review meetings and provide all supporting documents related to quality assurance aspects for Contract Bid.Lead continuous improvement project and increase the awareness about company’s quality policy and objectives among all employees.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $58,610.00-$99,999.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offRRSP matchTuition reimbursementSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s Degree (required)Experience:quality assurance: 7 years (required)Licence/Certification:driver license (required)
