Position Summary: A Service Manager oversees all business and administrative aspects of a service center. Hiring, training, and evaluating mechanics and support staff, as well as maintaining all service records and ensuring the department runs efficiently with a high customer retention rate.Pay range for this position is commissioned based paid on Service Department performance- target income is $140,000 to $180,000 annually.Who You Are:

You have a proven track record of success and a minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a Service Manager/Advisor in an automotive dealership
You lead by defining and achieving ambitious goals, presenting concepts to influence others. effectively problem solving and maintaining a work environment that continues to grow and prosper.
You have the proven experience in managing the systems of checks and balances to assure compliance and financial integrity. Protect the proprietary nature of the business and maintain strict managerial confidentiality.
You can effectively recruit, supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performance team.
You can establish and maintain a work climate that encourages continuous improvement, productivity, employee satisfaction and dedication to a positive customer experience.
You seek to understand and then comply with all company policies and procedures.
You are an expert and have the skills to train employees in the effective utilization of the company’s automotive software.
You stay current with new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations.
You have experience working with the software, DealerTrack (preferred but not required)

Essential Responsibilities:

Manufacturer Relations – Maintain Positive Relationship with Representatives and achieve expected performance standards
Asset Management – Maintain a competitively positioned, clean, safe, secure, and environmentally responsible facility within budgetary guidelines and assure full compliance with all internal, brand, manufacturer, and regulatory compliance standards.
People Management – A competent, motivated, and stable staff of automotive service professionals
Financial Management – Consistently Achieve Performance Metrics and the protection of the financial assets of the business
Customer Relations – Superior reputation among customers and the community; a loyal and growing owner base.
Requirements: *
Must have proven track record of success and a minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a Service Manager/Advisor in an automotive dealership
Other previous automotive management experience will be considered
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
High School Diploma and 5+ years Automotive Technology Education or relevant work experience
