Job Description : Job Description – Background Screening Processor
Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in growing and servicing the Background Screening Department (BSD) This will require the processor to assume multiple roles, including fulfillment, as BSD evolves. This is a full-time, hands-on exempt position reporting to the President and VP.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfillment

Set up new client agreements as they arrive for both background and drug screens.
Conduct background checks to fulfill client orders.
Provide customer service for background and drug screening clients and consumers.
Working with subject matter experts as needed, ensure screening products and services when delivered: Comply with applicable background screening laws and regulations.
Are provided in a timeframe that meets client expectations and conforms to industry standards.
Are accurate, complete, and comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirement to follow “reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy.”

Experience

Minimum two years’ hands-on experience in background screening is preferred, not required
Working knowledge with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is preferred
Minimum one year successful history interacting with clients.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Qualifications

Ability and desire to learn and grow with organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience working with technology and multiple web-based applications simultaneously
Self-motivated, independent worker with ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Ability to contribute to clients’ requirements through team collaboration

Work Environment

Casual small business office, Monday – Friday full time position
