Position : Bookkeeper
Job Description : The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have the ability to produce clear financial reports.Responsibilities-Maintains historical records by filing documents.-Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems-Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents-Government remittance reporting and filing such as HST/GST, payroll remittance, WSIB report, etc.-Completing month-end Trust reconciliations.-Maintains general ledger by entering data into Quickbooks-Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.-Complies with federal and provincial accounting requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports with government authorities-Investigating and resolving accounts issues/discrepancies with detailed analysis and explanations-Liaising with CRA and clients for dealing with individual and business mattersQualifications3+ years of experience in related fieldProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooksStrong organizational and analytical skills Detail-orientedJob Types: Part-time, Fixed term contractSalary: $25.00-$40.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:QuickBooks: 3 years (preferred)bookkeeping: 4 years (preferred)
