Position : Bricklayer – Stone Mason – Concrete
Job Description : We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Bricklayer & Stone Mason with at least 7 years + of experience to perform the following tasks:
-Mixing and working with concrete
-Installing brick (full and thin) and stone veneer (natural and artificial)
-Building block (CMU) walls
-Working with rebar
-Digging
-Repair, replace, and maintain sidewalks, curbs gutters, storm catch basins, wheel-chair ramps, and drive aprons.
-Levels the top surface of freshly poured concrete on floors, walls, ceilings, or sidewalks;
-Operate a power vibrator to compress the concrete;
-Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete, waterproof, damp-proofing, and restore concrete surfaces
-Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
-Removes deteriorated or broken concrete to prevent hazards on sidewalks, curbs, and gutters or drive aprons; and prunes roots that damage concrete;
-Removes and replaces sprinkler systems;
-Concrete repair
-Concrete demolition
-Concrete placement and finishing
-Formwork / carpentry
-Rebar replacement
– Commercial caulking experience required.
-Expansion joints
-Coating application
-Form setting
-Prepare footing and rebar for freestanding walls and/or retaining walls in accordance with project specifications
-Build freestanding and/or retaining walls with mortar and mortarless blocks
-Installation of concrete block walls
-Stamped concrete finish
-Installation of pavers
-Installation of brick and/or stone veneer
-Installation of flagstone
-Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.
Must have all necessary & required tools, safety gears, hard hat, and work boots.
Must have a reliable work vehicle, preferable a pickup truck and Current Drivers License and Auto Insurance.
Must have knowledge of OSHA standards related to procedures and enforce safety practices and standards.
Completing all items on work orders provided by the company.
Inspecting, identifying and documenting damaged or missing items in or around projects.
Extensive knowledge in residential and commercial stucco or plastering – interior & exterior
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform work safely.
Other tasks related to this position as assigned and/or required on the job.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract (depending upon final agreement at Employer’s discretion).
Pay range: $22.00 through $48.00 per hour (Pay is based on experience, abilities, skills, terms of the contract and final agreement at Employee’s discretion).
