Job Description : Unique gifting required! Are you passionate about ending human trafficking, smitten by the bridal shop environment, and capable of inspiring and uniting others to serve? If so, you may be the Bridal Shop Retail Associate that we are looking for.
This part-time position provides the opportunity to be on the ground floor of Arizona’s first Adorned in Grace, a nonprofit bridal and formalwear shop opening soon in the Superstition Springs’ Center in Mesa. The qualified candidate will help to oversee retail shop operations, lead volunteer teams, and engage with brides and other customers to raise awareness and funding for the prevention of exploitation and support for victims. The person filling this role will help churches and passionate volunteers link arms to express God’s love while uniting to end exploitation.

Superstition Springs Center – Job Description
Organization: Adorned in Grace Bridal and Formalwear raises awareness and funds for the prevention of human trafficking and support for victims. Adorned in Grace serves under Compassion Connect, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Job Title: Adorned in Grace Bridal and Formalwear Nonprofit Retail Associate (Part-time)

Equip individuals and volunteer teams to carry out the retail sales operations of the Mesa bridal shop: e.g. helping customers, completing sales transactions, managing inventory, maintaining relevant databases, updating technology, maintaining and improving the physical facility, keeping correspondence current, marketing, enacting community outreach
Help train and encourage volunteers
Help volunteers’ implement the policies of the shop
Help to ensure that volunteers are scheduled and engaged to support shop operations
Interface between the bridal shop, its volunteers and AIG Director

Qualifications:
Faith and Character:

Friendly, engaging personality and positive attitude
Good judgment and conflict resolution skills
Professional, groomed appearance

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to provide oversight and leadership to volunteer staff
Strong customer service skills
Basic math, cash handling, and accounting skills
Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, squat and move/carry up to 35 lbs

Oversight:

The Bridal Shop Associate will report to the Adorned in Grace Director
Maintain a weekly log documenting hours and tasks, periodically reviewing it with Director to adjust focus when necessary

Schedule:

Responsibilities are conducted primarily on-site at the Superstition Springs Center location; some evenings and weekends
Additional time to include occasional team meetings and administrative tasks
Work schedule to be confirmed with Director, 20-30 hours per week

Team meetings:

As necessary for volunteer teams and with individual volunteers
Staff meetings as necessary
