Our client, a leading publishing company in the GTA, is seeking a Business Analysis/Project Manager to help drive organizational vision for industry leading growth and increased market share using technology as an enabler and difference maker.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with senior project managers and business groups to understand and document project business requirements and existing business processes
Study application data models and perform data analysis to identify system and process gaps and opportunities using data
Gain an understanding of the current operational procedures for different business groups, including all the input/outputs within the existing architectural landscape
Manage small to mid-size projects and assist Sr. Project Managers
Track the project plan, maintain awareness of potential problems or delays
Must Have:

4+ years in a computer software development environment preferably with emphasis on project management, systems analysis, and business analysis.
2+ years of project management experience in managing small to mid-size projects from initiation to closing
Proven experience of performing data analysis and interpretation with experience of writing SQL queries and/or use of related query tools
Nice to Have:

BA/BS degree in Computer Science
PMP Cert
