Job Description : Job SummaryThe F & I Manager works closely with Sales Management, Sales Representatives and others within the dealership. They also help to secure financing and presents aftermarket product options for customers requesting it.This position is not “remote work” capable and requires punctual, consistent, and regular attendance for all scheduled shifts. Missed work affects the day-to-day operations of the company. This in turn negatively impacts fellow employees through lowered morale and / or lost income opportunities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob duties for a business manager include, but are not limited to:Acts as a good will ambassador for the dealership by promoting professionalism and displaying excellent customer satisfaction skills.Maintains efficient communications within the department, as well as between departments.Promotes harmony and a team spirit with all other departments.Procures financing for customers based on various factors.Takes responsibility for proper completion of all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle.Obtains customer signatures on all necessary documents.Maintains up to date training and ensures company compliance with state and federal regulations.Sells aftermarket products such as extended service contracts, GAP, road hazard protection, Resistall, key replacement, etc.Verifies all contracts are submitted to lenders in timely fashion and funded as requiredHandles customer concerns or inquiries.Completes all franchise required training.Meets and or exceeds company monthly, quarterly, or annual sales goals.Performs all duties in a safe manner following all company safety guidelines and policies.Performs other duties as requested or required.QualificationsTwo years in a dealership sales environment, or equivalent, is preferred. Good communication skills, negotiating skills, basic accounting skills, multi-tasking skills, and computer skills are a must. High school diploma or the equivalent is required.Working ConditionsExtended working hours may be required, which may include working at nighttime or weekends.
