Job Description : CEIs Fortune 50 Company in Media and Communications is adding a Cable Technician who will oversee and validate Fiber and Coax work being completed by sub-contracting teams in the Greater Fort Collins Area

Long-term contract with potential for extension and permanent conversion
Pre-budgeted pay rate of $33.00 / HR + Benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401k)
Candidates must be currently local to Fort Collins, CO
It is expected that this role is in the field about 80% of their time, with all other work being preformed remotely.
Expense Program in-place for site-to-site mileage

Responsibilities:

Ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties such as: placing hard-line cables, frame and strand poles, transfer facilities between poles, place cable in joint trench, and safe operation of construction vehicles and cable trailers.
Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping concerning project start, milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.
Instructs work site safety standards; conducts work site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and participates in regular safety meetings with the crew.
Supports Specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects.
Generates logs and reports on construction, projects, materials, and expenditure

Required Skills:

Understanding of Cable Systems and Telecommunications construction projects (node spits, cutovers, Fiber, Coax, and HFC networks).
Past experience with Salesforce, Sage, or other Project Management tools is preferred.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
