Ardurra seeks a Water/Wastewater CAD Designer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
Primary Function
Candidate would use CAD equipment/software to provide support to engineers by preparing civil and mechanical exhibits for reports and drawings for construction.
Primary Duties

Responsible for the design of CADD plan layouts and drafting requirements of any project assigned
Responsible for the record keeping and documentation of project requirements
Responsible for plotting and checking drawings
Make required modifications to drawings
Candidates should have a solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology and construction drawings.
Candidate should possess civil/mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. The level of design decisions and responsibility required of the candidate will be based on their level of experience and familiarity with the type of project
Good communication & collaboration skills
Will perform other duties as may be assigned by Project Manager

Education and Experience Requirements

Associates degree in drafting & design preferred but not required, High School diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of Civil/Mechanical drafting experience using AutoCAD; ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience
Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD 2013 or greater, Civil 3D a plus
Knowledge of MicroStation and Revit a plus
Knowledge of ArcGIS a plus
Strong Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing
