Role: The role of the Medical Office Manager / Center Administrator is to direct, plan and coordinate the operations of the clinical and front office functions of a medical practice while ensuring high quality patient care and satisfaction.
In addition, the Medical Office Manager / Center Administrator will help support efforts to market and grow the medical practice.
Primary Responsibilities:

Build and lead a team of highly effective administrative and clinical staff
Ensure employees are adequately trained to perform assigned duties safely and correctly
Instill a customer service and high quality patient care culture within the practice
Ensure patients are treated courteously by staff and that any patient complaints are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
Ensure that medical care is delivered in accordance with physician instructions
Work with administrative and clinical staff to ensure high quality patient care is provided
Maintain and adjust work schedules and ensure optimal staffing across functional areas within clinic and amongst other clinics
Monitor and coordinate clinic activity to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Oversee the process to prepare patients for registration, examination, treatment and checkout
Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of facility through use of clinic staff and other support staff
Ensure office and clinical supply inventory is current, mail is opened and processed, offices are opened and closed according to established procedures and adheres to hours of operation
Assists in maintaining patient files, records and other information
Compiles and condenses technical and statistical data for reports and records
Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures and state and federal rules and regulation
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system as well as the accuracy of accounting and payroll transactions
Participate in professional development activities and conducts staff meetings regularly.
Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
Assist with growing the practice including key marketing activities
Maintain strict confidentiality

Qualifications:

Four year college degree preferred
RMA, CMA or LPN certificate and/or course-work in health care office management is desired
Minimum of two years’ experience working in a supervisory role in a medical office
Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction
Demonstrated skills in written, verbal and consultative communications
Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
Understanding of revenue cycle management
Computer proficiency

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
