Position : City Arborist

Job Description : Supervise the planting and maintenance of all City of Manitou Springs trees, including, but not limited to parks, streets, and public trees located on city properties and right of ways. Assist with the planting and maintenance of all city gardens and landscaping. This position is a member of the Parks and Recreation Department – Parks Division and reports directly to the Parks Manager. All staff and Parks and Recreation Department, whether directly or indirectly, are supervised by the Parks and Recreation Director.

The City Arborist and Horticulturist will perform a range of duties in support of Parks and Recreation, including a wide variety of physical tasks related to park maintenance and general City upkeep. The City Arborist and Horticulturist will be expected to assist other Parks and Recreation and Public Services to complete other tasks as assigned. Salary range $22.32 to $31.25 DOE.
