Job Description : Automotive Mechanical Claims Adjuster for Profit Strategies SAG LLC A Vanguard Company
Job Summary:
Responsible for handling automotive claims filed by repair facilities. All our Claims Adjusters are full-time employees and with no travel required. Company is located near Denver, CO. Position is on-site!
If you’re tired of the long retail hours and the shop conditions and want to use your automotive technical knowledge in a new way, this position offers a great career path for techs who no longer want to “turn wrenches” or service managers that would like a steady paycheck and work Monday – Friday. All interaction with repair facilities is handled by phone or electronically so communication and computer skills are a must. Also, you’ll need to bring your extensive technical experience / mechanical knowledge and a strong understanding of automobile and light truck repair.

This position includes full benefits, generous paid-time-off and the pay ranges from $24-$25 / hour.

The Daily:

Investigate and process mechanical claims requested by dealerships / repair facilities (RF)
Assess requested claim and repair to gather pertinent information
Using your technical knowledge, verify through the dealership / RF if coverage applies through the contract
Evaluate all information to determine how claims should be handled (diagnosis from the RF, photos, DTCs, inspections, etc.)
Negotiate with repair facilities wherever necessary to pay claim based on contract coverages
Required for remote work: high-speed internet connection including your own router and modem
